Marta Penter \\ Shared Intimacy

as a psychologist-turned-painter, based in Brazil, the artist is playing mind games using basically watercolors and oils on canvas. We choose her for her nice point of view on the bottom angled paintings ;)

“When you have a large image, it causes you to become a part of the painting much quicker than if it were to be smaller.” she stated

Before I die I want to . . .

Ok little bots, great post by this is colossal that made my day !

Before I Die is a public installation by New Orleans artist Candy Chang that prompts passersby to complete the sentence “Before I die I want to…” using colored chalk. The installation was filled out in only a day and you can see sections of the completed work here. Erase. Repeat. Awesome

Urban Cityscapes Spray Painted on Cardboard Panels by EVOL

German street artist EVOL (previously) is currently showing a number of new pieces atJonathan LeVine gallery. The new works feature urban facades spray painted with the use of stencils on flat sheets of cardboard. Much like his outdoor graffiti, these stencils display an uncanny attention to detail, depicting light and shadow that transforms mundane surfaces of consumer packaging into fascinating, seemingly multi-dimensional pieces of art.
